BRIEF: Our design team were commissioned by Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) to create a sub brand, theme and design for their annual conference. This involved various separate components such as a conference brochure design, programme design and other marketing literature. The RCPCH team wanted an innovative and fresh design and wanted to move away from the corporate theme and colours they had been using previously.
SOLUTION: Our design team analysed and highlighted areas where the current conference design lacked imagination and detail. They also examined the RCPCH’s branding guidelines in detail and produced five stunning concepts for the front cover. All five of the concepts had a unique style and their message delivery varied. The chosen concept was developed into the final design after 15 different iterations. This was then used to establish a ‘feel’ for the rest of the design.
RESULT: The final artwork was a vast improvement from the original design; the theme and colours used made the design look fresh, fun and vibrant. The final brochure clearly delivered the conference message whilst appealing to their target audience within the Paediatric industry.
